Brian Samuels, MD

Medical Oncologist

Dr. Brian Samuels is board certified in Medical Oncology and is recognized as an expert in the treatment of sarcomas.

After graduating with Honors from the Godfrey Huggins School of Medicine, Dr. Brian Samuels completed his internal medicine residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, and was Board certified in Internal Medicine in 1984. He continued his training in Hematology and Oncology with a fellowship at the University of Chicago, becoming Board certified in Medical Oncology in 1987.

Dr. Samuels has conducted extensive cancer research, authoring over 60 publications and book chapters, 25 in the field of sarcoma. He has expertise in most aspects of medical oncology and hematology, and has a focus in sarcoma treatment. He is married and has three children. His wife, Lesley, is a board certified psychiatrist at Eastern State Psychiatric Hospital.
